I have a question:
If you import your save from ME1, would you be able to change the class at the beginning of ME2? I don't want to be limited to one class just to get the benefits of my decisions through my ME1 play-through.

Since I'll be playing with my imported character, I'll probably be Soldier again, since I found it the easiest, but on my old Xbox I played through as a Vanguard because of my draw towards the pistol/shotgun combo.

Soldier first. It seems to be the "Getting used to the game" character, and Mass Effect 2 will apparently take some getting used to.

After that, I'll import my Infiltrator for a proper play-through.

Infiltrator. Imported from ME1 with full charm and sniper rifle stats. Talk softly and carry a huge fucking sniper rifle is the road for me.

Probably soldier since my ME1 character was a soldier. I will be using every class eventually, however.

My Vanguard from the first game, modeled after myself, acted like myself, wielded a asinely over-powered shotgun like... well that part isn't true.

I've got to be a sentinel to try everything out in the game, plus those tech shields look amazing
