Am I the only male who left Ashley to die because I needed an Adept and had no use for another Soldier? I guess I'm a cold, calculating, heartless bastard. And blue skin is a turn-on.

How ANYONE finds Ashley attractive, I don't know. In the first game, she looked like a butch lesbian, and now she somehow looks even more like a transvestite.

At least the man-jawed Miranda had some feminine features. She was still ugly, but visibly female.

Stoked that Garrus and Liara are playable again. I just hope biotics are actually useful in ME3, rather than ME2's utterly useless abilities (wooh, I can damage shields a little every 20 seconds. Yay.).

I hope Legion is usable too, but I'd rather Thane for combat. Garrus/Thane combo is great, as is Garrus/Samara.

Damn she looks much hotter but... can anyone say awkward conversation with the whole Miranda/Ashley thing?

Ashley, why is your hair down? It was so practical before and you're a soldier. Your job isn't to look hot automatically. Your job is to mow down adversaries with all your guns and THAT is what's supposed to make you look hot.

And glee! Garrus is playable again! (And Anderson might be? Surprising. But I guess I should have expected it.) I hope Legion is playable for a significant fraction of the game to make up for being absentee for the majority of his debut game. Grrr...

I like it.

Looks like Kaiden and Ashley have some kind of Alliance suit? Or thats what the blue-theme of their outfits look like. My guess initial guess was that its some kind of formal dress for Shepard's trial on Earth? Only reason I can imagine Kaiden/Ashley being there to be character witnesses? Also explains why Ashley isn't all MARINE like she was before- different setting.

It looks like they just photoshopped her bugeyed, big lipped face onto Miranda body.

Still don't regret leaving her to get nuked on virmire.

She's hot. Not too bothered if she's not in my party again, though. As for Kaidan, he's dead.

Hope I get to see Tali's face in this one cos I did her in ME2. ;)

She looks more or less the same as in ME1, only... hopefully less Uncanny Valley this time. If the Uncanny Valley was a pageant, Ashley would win. It's too bad, she's far from a bad character and I'm glad to see her again, even though my hooker-sense is tingling at present.

It does kind of bother me that she looks like she's gotten Work done, and I don't just mean on her chest mountains. Her lips look like they're trying to escape from her face...

Her eyes kind of look a bit deadened, I see Bioware are also continuing with their latest trend of T+A being the selling point of their female characters.

Here's wondering if Tali's suits going to get a little tighter this time around. I am not sure Miranda's can get any more so, and Jack can't lose much more clothing as it is...

Kaiden actually looks kind of cool... this surprises me much more than the changes to Ashley.

Unlike most people jerking off over the Mass Effect series, I don't give a scrote about importing a saved game. I just care about the story. Games are like interactive books to me. I like to get drawn in, so if I've imported my save or I'm going for a fresh start, it doesn't matter. If the story is strong enough, features will hardly matter.

All BioWare really has to do in order to get this game to sell more copies than the other two combined is to include full nudity. And amply. Make it a core part of interpersonal relationships between characters: the person you're boning has more conversation options, there are more times they're in peril, other characters reference the relationship, etc. With the legions of undiagnosed sociopaths and erotomaniacs inhabiting the gaming kingdom, that seems like a no-brainer.

Oh for fuck sake, not more Dragon Age style massive balloon-tits.

Jesus.
I will be mad if they gave Jack implants between games. Big boobs=/=more attractive.
I'm just hoping Jack isn't in the game to be honest, I hate her :D
I'd at least hope they give her hair

A definite improvement but I can't say no to Liara. Blue is my favourite colour, I liked her naiveness in ME1 and her ruthlessness in ME2 and her improved sense of humour ("What kind of weapons does this thing have?" "It's a taxi. It has a fare meter") and also, I like the idea of crazy biotic fun, if you know what I mean

Whenever I try making a face, it always ends up looking like Paul Logan.
Paul Logan's kinda hot.

At least my male Shepard came out looking KIND OF attractive. My female Shepard looked like that fat toad chick from The Oblongs.
It takes a lot of work to make a decent looking male shepard. Female characters are a lot easier to make, but you can't really go too far off from the preset if you want something good. Both come out as a very generic looking character.

Yeah, the scarring feature from ME1 helped fix the generic look a bit, but not by much. Wonder if that feature will make a return?
