Poll: Mass Effect "For Reals" Playthrough

With Mass Effect 2 coming out in about a month I have the urge to do a playthrough that I feel was right. I feel like I screwed up on a certain planet a little(read: tons) and I could do it with less causalities. I also didn't like how I made my custom shepherd(Whats with the terrible choice of eyes in this game anyway?) looked. Then I finally figured out you cant have three-ways in the game so that messed up my love interests in the game a bit.

So with that terrible run I am going to do one right this time. I was wondering if the escapist will prepare like I will in this game.

I will completely forget about Mass Effect 2 and whine about how I want KotOR3.

My original playthrough was my ME2 carry-through. I'll make some other characters on ME1 later to see the changes, but my current ME1 character is the one I'll be taking through first.

I'm gonna try and fit two playthroughs in before ME2 comes out. One paragon, one renegade. I deleted my old saves a while ago.

Yes times a million. I'm doing several just so I can continue to play the sequel in new ways.

I need a paragon run, and renegade run and my for real run. Which I usually end up falling somewhere in the middle.

I just bought the game this past Saturday. I've only just reached the Citadel, so I guess my first playthrough will be the one I bring into ME2.

I died a little on the inside when I learned I couldn't have sweet lovin's with Wrex...

But more OT: I may get the game just so I can play through it and have a save on hand when ME2 comes out... Or I may not. It all depends on how I feel.

Heh I usually do one honest run (to the best of my ability) without guide (beside they are usually not out by the time I play) and my second playthrough are made by the guide for everything I missed

Heh as of Mass Effect 2...well I'm in a bit of a bind apparently one end ensure the defitive end of Sheppard meaning he won,t be back for Mass effect 3...and I kinda don't want that...while I want continuity I want that continue to stay on for the third opus,so I feel like my first playthrough should be with a new character instead (I beef up my guy to level 60 I don't want it to happen for nothing)

You know, I'm actually at this part that I can't get past. It's like this part at the beginning with the night club. I really don't like the combat system because I'm too used to Gears of War so I keep on dying on what should be an easy section...

I uninstalled Mass Effect when I stopped playing it and didn't keep the saves, so I'm going to have to play it through all the way if I want to use the option to carry over the character.

I doubt my system will be able to run ME2 smoothly anyway, so it'll have to wait until I upgrade anyway.

Nah, I'm satisfied with the choices I made the first time around. If you're on vacation for Christmas and you have nothing else to do, Mass Effect is nothing if not a good time killer.

I'm fine with the game and my current playthrough. I'm worried, though. Does Tali have a romantic plotline? I've already been through Ashley and Liaras respective ones.

I'm going to do a new run for the realz. And i'm going to explore every inch of every single planet. I know i've missed some things so it should be fun.

And currently i don't have a save where i've helped tali get the geth data. I usually don't go exploring in useless star clusters. And as such i haven't a playthrough where i haven't destroyed the geth bases and retrieved the geth data.

Nope but you can befriend her and give her the data from the geth incursion

To be honest, no - I'm not. I just can't see previous actions having to much of an overall effect on the games storyline...sure there may be certain scenarios I may miss, but I didn't enjoy Mass Effect enough to replay the game again and again in order to view a few new chat options.

I would say that Tali would have make a better love interest as Liana as Liana is insufferably innocent and Tali a little bit more mature (Bioware seem to love having romanceable Fish out of water for some reason)
