Mass Effect: Protocol is an audio drama put together by a few diehard ME fans. The voice acting and production quality are much higher than any fan project I've seen in years, and yet it is getting next to no attention. The views are in the lower hundreds at best.
I find this sort of behavior highly deplorable. Shame on you, Internet.
In any case, the series just released it's third episode today, with the fourth planned for the 26th of this month. This would be an excellent time for anyone to jump in on this burgeoning project.
The plot centres around salarian spectre Captain Terran Cronis, and his current goal of amassing a team of N7 picked individuals to combat the Reaper threat. It is set in parallel to ME3, but as an unrelated tangent. It's rather good, really.
