I know all of your arguments and stuff.... but what about the homeworld... I mean its their mother 'effin homeworld, it's their earth.
It's the Geth Homeworld too.
And to be fair to the geth, they only revolted because the Quarians tried to wipe them out. Which they did when the geth became self aware and decided they didn't want to be the Quarian's slaves anymore.

Have they tried ASKING for their planet back yet?
Supposedly no, since the majority of Quarians haven't even considered making peace with the Geth. However, the Geth also don't make an effort to talk to the other species, particularly Quarians, because they are paranoid about being attacked. Legion said that it would be hard for the Geth to accept the idea of peace, as the Quarians have a bad track record of attempting to blow them up everytime they meet each other.

No, because they would lose. That said, it can't exactly be hard to negotiate with the Geth: they don't have much reason to deny the Quarians their home planets given that there's an infinitely large unsettled universe and they don't have much of an investment in them.

Good Lord no. I'll need all the ships I can get for the Reapers.

Geth have fantastic self developed technology. Quarians are the best race to actually make that technology work with other Council races. I'd rather they'd just get over themselves and start working together so that we can give the real threat a good kicking.

It always struck me as odd. These two races are in each others places. Geth would be happier floating amongst the stars, and Quarians need a planet.

But mostly I just want their war ships. After the Reapers are gone they can do whatever they like to each other. For now though, I want their guns pointed in the same direction.

the Geth are more than willing to make peace with the Quarians even after the Quarians attempted to genocide them, they're so willing to make peace, that the Geth are literally only on any of the Quarian's planets at this point in order to ensure that the Quarians will still be capable of living there when they stop acting like a bunch of ignorant children, make peace with them, and return.

no, not really.

if you've managed to played the save hacked version with Legion acquired early, When you are recruiting Tali, Legion does say that "we do not intend physical harm to our creators at this time". this could because of the threat of the reapers.

The geth would have no problem with returning the homeworld to their creators as long as they could be convinced that the creators would not attempt to wage war against them again.

As Legion said, every time the quarians have thought they had the chance to be victorious, they have attacked the geth. Granted, "every time" is only once, but statistics are important to the geth.

The quarians and geth need to interact with one another in smaller groups in order to establish to both sides that they have no reason to distrust each other. But before that can happen, the radical quarians who want nothing more than to "domesticate" the geth have to be dealt with somehow.
