I plain don't like male Shepard, but while reading a swedish gaming magazine which prominently featured the "new and improved" FemShep on the cover I got to thinking, "Don't most people prefer FemShep over MaleShep? Why isn't -she- the canon one?"
I didn't think much about the implications beyond that but it did raise an interesting question - what is the most common Shepard people play?
Renegade, Paragon, Male, Female? And what about the always-vital romance subplot? What choices would Shepard make in canon?
MaleShep in the ME3 tailers seem to romance Ashley, but why is that when Liara always made more sense to me?
How come MaleShep was shown to be Renegade in the trailers for ME2 but now the ME3 trailers show him with the Council from the first game still alive, does that mean he was Paragon all along?
I don't think anyone wants an answer to just what exactly is the "right" path Shepard took, but what I do want to know is what the players, the fans, make the most common Shepard variant.
I decided to focus on gender and romance options in the Poll because Renegade/Paragon doesn't change the story as much as those choices do and there's an 8-answer limit to the poll, but that's no reason you can't just write a post with more details about how your Shepard went about things - and since there are a few options on the romance side I couldn't fit into the poll either, post those too, even if you vote for what is "closest" to what happened to your Shep!
