Poll: Mass Effect VS Modern Warfare 2

After Playing through a few main missions in Mass Effect and then playing some multiplayer on MW 2 I told my brother that I thought MW 2 just wasnt as fun as Mass Effect and he just was speechless.
According to him Im crazy and dont deserve to be a gamer and that mass effect 2 will be horrible, "because Bioware games are for total nerds with no life". Whats you guys and gals opinion on this?

Well considering they are very different games it just come down to people taste, I personally hate MW2 and very much enjoyed ME.

Also I can see you relatively new here so one piece of advice; Vs threads generally don't go down too well.

Well, you can't really compare the two since they are completely different games.
Comparing a twitch shooter with a Bioware Action-RPG is pretty pointless, really.

You can certainly say what you prefer 'over all', but they both fill totally different roles.
I prefer Mass Effect for single player, epic space story awesomeness with blue chicks who throw you through the air with their mind.
And I prefer MW2 for shooting people with friends online.

If I had to live in a world with one or the other, though, it would obviously be Mass Effect.
Bioware can do no wrong.

And my question too is did he even play the COD franchise before MW1? If not then he just needs to crawl in a hole and shut up because he clearly has no clue what he is talking about. Both games are fun but to say that one game is bad because it has an actual story is ridiculous.

He didnt get into the franchise until World At War and played both modern warfare and he exclusivly plays games like that and halo while continue to knock my favorite single player games like AC2, Saints row 2, and i Just love while he knocks it and mocks me repeadetly for Playing Dragon Age: Origins. The Funny thing is that he is only 12 and that if i do anything about it, my mom (Im 15) will claim that he is innocent and that he couldnt possibly do anything like that.

People's opinions on games (and everything) differ. Bioware games are not "for total nerds with no life," they're simply games. Whether one has "no life" or has infinite lives is simply that person's personal thing.

Anyone can enjoy whatever games they like, and I'd just ignore him. He's 12 - what does he know? Play the games that you like and/or want to play.

Lol well i guess you got a little shit on your hands. I guess when I was 12 I was only playing sports games and I steadily evolved into a more complete gamer. Hopefully he will eventually come around but it just sounds like he is too immature to get RPG games. They take an in depth thinking and are generally more time consuming then just straight shooters. Just consider he isn't very mature in the world of gaming and might eventually come around.
