Poll: Max Payne 3 multiplayer?

I recently heard the news about the new Max Payne coming out this fall, and shortly after I heard a rumor that the new game would have some kind of online multiplayer. Which doesn't surprise me since they gave GTA IV multiplayer. But my question is has anyone heard anything about it, and does it seem like a definite fact or just a rumor? (Oh and just thought I'd add the fact that if Max Payne 3 isn't game of the year I'm going to have to shoot myself, because 1 and 2 were freaking amazing!)

It would ruin Max Payne in my opinion, what could it possibly be other than generic deathmatch with different weapons and character models? A co-op storyline, separate to the single-player, would work really well, but I don't think an adversarial multiplayer would.

I don't think the Max Payne 3 multiplayer online will do it any good, because the strongest thing about the max payne game's is that you can use bullet time which in the online version you will not be able to use.

But the main thing is that the story is still on the track about max payne continuing through his miserable life, with action sticky taped to it.

Rockstar Vancouver works on Max Payne 3 instead of Remedy Entertainment?

I am not expecting much from this game. I'll rather use my money on Alan Wake.

I'm not too excited about Max Payne 3, to be honest. I'd rather that Remedy had made it after finally finishing Alan Wake. And I really don't want to see multiplayer in MP3.
