Poll: Max Payne's logical ending...

Aside from dying in a hail of bullets, I mean. An ending where this character lives and eventually finds happiness.

I'm playing Max Payne 3, and after a half hour of sitting through narration I think.... Why didn't this character become a writer instead of a cop? With all his wordy expositions and metaphors, plus he's had plenty of experiences to draw from.

Plus, ya know, he's an alcoholic and so many writers are.

So... Yes? No? Escapist? What say ye to my little flight of fancy. Max Payne quits the run and gun lifestyle and becomes a writer?

And then he goes on a trip to a secluded town in Washington, where the story he writes comes true before his eyes and he is forced to fight possessed townsfolk with heavy use of slow motion...
