Poll: Medieval Mayhem

Well all these genres are cool but i think the escapists missed a remotely big one, medieval genre.There would be things such as knights for tanks, jesters for tricksters, horsemen for chargers, wizards or archers for shooting, etc.Things like that.I would like to see one but i just wanted to know how the others escapists felt.

Hell yeah there should. I would have picked that in an instant over Ninja, though Ninja is still awesome in every way.

Good! Instead of new Genres I'd prefer more variety to each genre. Perhaps a unique class per Genre that is strong against only one other type of unit, but is EXCEPTIONALLY good against it? As in, an Average/Average Charger Killer can kill 5 chargers by himself, but sucks against anything else?

To be a true nerd you alwasy need to pick Pirates/Ninjas/Robots/Zombies/aliens! Then you have sub categories:Vikings, Lumberjacks, Knights, Wizards etc etc

I would argue that Medieval fantasy is the tried and true most common and most widely adhered to form of nerdism. I mean, you've got dungeons and dragons, live action castle sieges, countless video games and table tops... I don't really need to go on...

Yeah a Medieval genre would have been good, but where would you end? Napoleonic is one of my favourite historic eras, so that would have been a nice option as well.
I think that 5 different races are probably enough, maybe with room for another one.
