So as my amazingly awesome alliteration title states I want to know what are some memorable moments you've had in multiplayer gaming? I've had three particularly notable ones.
TL;DR What are you most memorable multiplayer moments
In Halo 3, I was in what seemed to be a fairly normal match, until it started that is. Somehow Everyone in the match was, in addition to being very skilled, a leeroy jenkins kind of tactician. They focused aggresively on getting the kill, even if it meant from beyond the grave kills. So for basically every encounter no one walked away alive. The game lasted like 3 mins. before the kill count for victory was achieved. I couldn't believe how fast the match had gone by. I was like WTF! A guy at the end of the match (the only one to speak the whole time) very matter-of-factly said "That was gay" and it ended.
In Halo:Reach, my freind and I started up a big team battle, and I swear to God it was the most insanely chaotic match I've ever been in. Throughout the match we had an enemy team member jump into the passenger side of our warthog while dropping off one of our own to capture the flag (he rode around with us for like a minute or two while we were running over people in the middle of the map before we bothered to get out and kill him), we had a single tank change hands 5 times in two minutes without being destroyed, we had at least two banshees or helicopters fall out of the sky onto each of us, and had a single flag change hands back and forth four times. It was literally the most fun I've ever had in online multiplayer
The third one I remember is way back when Super Smash Bros. Melee came out. My friend and I were fighting each other on top of peach's castle. I was Donkey kong and he was kirby. He was using kirby's fast punch move to pin me up against the base of the dome in the middle. As he was doing that one of the coin blocks that spawn spawned in such a way that it glitch pinned me to the wall. I started pressing all the buttons to try and get out of it, but to no avail. Eventually I got frustrated and shouted (sort of) "Why won't he move?" As if on cue the block despawned and Donkey Kong did his taunt move where he throws up his arms and makes a sound like "I don't know" (presumably because I pressed that button while mashing).
