I would avoid purchasing this game at all costs. If you really want to play it, rent it.
why dont you enjoy its awesome sauce ?
I don't have much time for gaming, so if a game doesn't "WOW" me within the first hour, I relegate that title to rental status. I got past the first couple missions and it just felt wonky.

Fair reasoning. I personally thing this is quite epic. The trailers on Steam and Youtube look fantastic, I would think about getting this game. Also, saying "Awesome Sauce" is now an easy way to get yourself killed.

The game looks worth the sixty bucks to me but I don't have sixty bucks. This game suprised me. I usually pay close attention to gaming news but I was not aware of this game until it was already out.

The thing that looks really good to me about it is the atmosphere. I want to experience the plight of these poor saps and go through it all with them. They say the gameplay leaves a bit to be desired but that does little to deter me considering the above.

I hope to play the game in the future.

I love this game. 4A knows how to create amazing atmosphere and story.

I am at the part right after you get the "D6" book. After you get in the car and use the flamethrower for the first time. I hate those demons in the library when you are getting the D6 book. They take SO MUCH AMMO to kill. I wasted about 1/4 of my revolver ammo killing 1 of those things....

Gotta love the Russians when it comes games and stories. All three STALKER games were epic and Metro is no exception. Two guys that were on the STALKER team left to make this! Beat it and now I want the alpha version cuz that looks a lot different.

Not to be picky, but Stalker games and Metro 2033 are developed in the Ukraine, not Russia.
After making Stalker "Shadow of Chernobyl", some of the guys from GSC broke away and started
4A games. They are the ones who made Metro 2033. Both developers are in Ukraine.

Look, yes it is a okay game. However it is also a buggy piece of shit that needs ALOT of patching before it is worth dropping $$ on.
If you feel you have to have it then sure but do yourself a favour and wait to see if the dev team actually fixes the problems or if they just ditch it.
IF they do fix it then yes, it is worth supporting.
I don't know what you're talking about..

Metro 2033 is probably the LEAST buggy PC game I have ever played. After 12 hours I didn't see a single bug or run into any glitches. No clipping issues, no messed up textures, bugged enemies.. nothing at all. Are you sure you're talking about the same game?

Also, I played it on Vista, and playing a game that runs without bugs on Vista is like finding a waterfall in the Sahara.

it is trust me , played it on xbox only thing that made me laugh was after killing a few nazi soldiers there chests just started moving up and down, that made me laugh, and yes it annoying to others but still it is worth a look , if not try download trial version or torrent it
