Hey all, just wondering, having never played any of the Metroid Prime games, do ya'll think it'd be worth picking up the trilogy? I have to admit, my Wii has been gathering a lot of dust of late, is this the package to make me remove some of said dust and do some fancy stick waggling? Tell me what you think in the poll, Thanks!

They all have wonderfully immersive gameplay, and good soundtracks. The first one is a little lacking in story, considering you never talk to another living thing, but 2 and 3 are definitely great in all categories.

Metroid is the only FPS that was fun to play on a console. Hell yes its worth it. Wish I still had a Wii so I could play them again.

I just bought the second game today, and they really are great games. Some people will say otherwise, but they can fuck off back to Gears of War. I felt like saying that, no offence?

Yell at me for being an idiot.

EDIT: One thing I don't like is in MP3, the Wii controls. I just... Don't like them. Is that so bad? Oh well. BTW I've never played Gears of War. If I knew someone who did, I'd probably play it, but as it stands, I don't feel like buying it for myself.

I'd say no, I love metroid games to death but unless you really like the Wii controls, you can probably get the 3 games cheaper separately.

All 3 games are really good, but I can't see myself spending another 50 bucks on games I already have, games that you can get for cheaper too.

I already own all three and I'll still be getting it, just to play Prime 1 with the Wiimote. Should be a blast.

Just because you like Gears of War doesn't mean you can't like Metroid Prime. I love all three Metroid Prime games. 2 is definetly my favorite. However I also like Gears of War. they are very different games that are both very good. btw WIUtomato you should definetely get them. Freakin great.

You really have to ask? Hell yes. Three of the best games to come out of Nintendo in ten, maybe even fifteen yeears? For $50? Shit, that's practically a steal.

Yeah, I understand that. I just felt like... Yelling? I have no idea. Sorry if you got the wrong idea, I'm not using my brain today. :S

The Trilogy is to the Wii what the Orange Box is to PC: an awesome deal that's surely a steal.

Fuck yes. The only reason not to buy it is if you had already played all three games. Otherwise: what the hell are you waiting for?!

Getting three top titles for the price of one? There shouldn't be any doubt, unless you already own 2 out of 3 or more. The games received some minor tweaks and upgrades too, making them a gaming experience that is just a little tighter than the stand-alone games.

I've already played the first two on Gamecube and am withholding my purchase of the third one solely because of this Trilogy. I have it from a source I hold in very high regard (ie. a friend with similar taste in games and whose judgement I trust) that the gameplay of Corruption is excellent, and being the kind of person who likes to replay single-player games every now and then, doing it with the aforementioned excellent gameplay will make my future replays of 1 and 2 all the more satisfying.

I own all three separately, and I almost wish I didn't, just so I could get the Trilogy instead. So, yes get it!

I got the Trilogy Package in the mail a couple of days ago, and right from the start, it was very obvious Retro/Nintendo knew who would be buying this package. Concept art, achievements, full biography of the trilogy. This hell of a collector's edition has restored my hope that the Nintendo big wigs didn't suffer from amnesia simultaniously around the beginning of 2006.

It might also be worth mentioning that prior to this, I'd only played Metroid Prime 1 on the GCN, and I never finished it due to the annoying fetch quest at the end.

This looks like the best deal in gaming since the Orange Box. So yes, get it, I know I am. I only managed to play the first one so this is a must buy.
