Bad things tend to happen in prison to people who do bad things to kids.

I like the part where they said that the kids have slept in his bed but when the technicians went over the bed they could not even find a hair or a DNA sample from any of the kids in MJs bed but then the argument "He could have changed the sheets to cover it up" came up. You know as if the first thing on his mind when the cops where kicking down the door was "Time to do the laundry" "Can you guys return in three and a half hours?"

Regardless. No on in the general population would have ever come near him anyway.

I can honestly say I don't believe he would be. From what I recall, he died of medical complications arising from too much plastic surgery. I don't think that would have changed if he had gone to prison. He was among the richest men on the face of the planet, if he couldn't find a cure for those complications from outside the prison system, I doubt he would have found one inside.

Also, I have no idea if he deserved to go to jail. Maybe he was a pedophile[footnote]I think this is likely, based on what little psychology I understand: he was beaten and forced to sing by his father from a very early age, which often results in a desire to get one's childhood back, often leading to sexual connotations during puberty[/footnote], but that doesn't instantly make him a child molester. Lots of people have pedophilic[footnote]A sexual attraction to pre-sexual humans[/footnote], hebephilic[footnote]A sexual attraction to humans entering pubescence[/footnote] and ephebephilic[footnote]A sexual attraction to post-pubescent humans[/footnote] tendencies[footnote]In fact, it has been argued that not being at least mildly ephebephilic is actually indicative of an unhealthy sexual psychology, as the post-pubescent years are the most fertile for females, resulting in a genetic predisposition to seek those forms.[/footnote], but obviously not all of them act on them; if they did, we would have far more accusations and convictions, even with the understanding that not all molestations would be reported.

Anyway, that's all aside and moot, because the man didn't get convicted and is now dead. Regardless of what I may think about his personal life, I believe his music was a fine contribution to the stage of pop and thus deserves recognition.

I apologize for the mess of footnotes, but I feel they're necessary. Not a lot of people know the difference between pedo-, hebe- and ephebephilia, unfortunately.

Probably yes since it was the medicines and pills etc that killed him so if he was in prison he would of gone cold turkey although he probably on it again after he is release from prison.

I dunno. I wasn't really paying attention, didn't care all that much. I think I heard that particular phrase from some PR guy on the Today Show or summat like that. And, when you think about it, an addiction to painkillers could technically be a "complication arising from too much plastic surgery."

True, but with his fame and cash he probably would've gotten into some relatively nice prison where he'd be safe. No warden wants their prison to be the place where celebrity x died, either.

with his fame and money he could of avoided prison altogether, and just got something else.

This really makes you think.

Seems logical to me that he'd still be dead. He'd still have access to all the same medication he was on, plus gym equipment. It was the combination of prescription drugs and exercise that killed him. In fact he might have gone downhill even faster in prison as there really isn't a lot to do in some prisons but exercise.

I at first thought he could've got murdered in prison, but a guy like Michael Jackson would get a hell of a lot of security in prison.

I might be wrong, like I said, I don't know or care, but I don't see any reason for you to be rude about it. I heard the phrase "complications from surgery" at some point in reference to Mr. Jackson's death and assumed that that meant physical failure due to plastic surgery. I didn't care enough to actually find out what the CoD was afterwards. I still don't actually care. He's dead, Jim. It doesn't really matter.

I might be wrong, like I said, I don't know or care, but I don't see any reason for you to be rude about it. I heard the phrase "complications from surgery" at some point in reference to Mr. Jackson's death and assumed that that meant physical failure due to plastic surgery. He died from an overdose of painkillers. Had he been in prison he would not have had access to the amounts and combinations that killed him. Nor would he have access to his irresponsible personal physician to administer them to him and then delay calling for help.

We also have to remember that the painkiller that killed Michael was one that only a doctor would have access to and should only be used doing surgery.
