Yesterday, it was announced that Michael Jackson had passed. I wanted to know how you guys felt about this. For me, he was one of my favorite artists growing up. What about you guys?

Same, I wasn't that big of a fan but I recognize that he was a major influence on the industry. That being said being an influential entertainer means absolutely nothing in regards to how important you are as a person overall.

You do know that he had a disease, right? He never bleached his skin or made himself white. He had an actual disease in which dark-skinned people slowly become light. It can happen either in splotches, or slowly in shades over time.

Lol, sorry for the repeat thread though. Anyway, if your too young watch like MTV or BET right now, they're showing a lot of his music videos right now. MTV is even showing concert footage.

I'd be suprised if someone didn't know he had a disease that made him turn white, he was just saying his best stuff was when he was black like beat it and thriller.

Not true. I'm 22 and I already said I wasn't a big fan. His death is no big loss, seriously.
