There's already a successful topic about Michael Moore's new documentary here:

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.145592

But I thought it would be handy to have a poll going to summarise the viewpoint of everyone.

In my point of view, Michael Moore just barges into buildings uninvited, makes outrageous claims, acts as a public nuisance, gets ejected from the building and makes money by saying it was their fault for throwing him out.

I couldn't care less about the man and anything he has to say.

What do you think?

I don't agree with his views. Mainly because I dislike his ways of doing things, and he has a horrible sense of smugness no matter what he does.

Meh? He doesn't have a direct impact on my life, and his apparently only indirect impact on my life is something I can choose not to deal with. I don't care for him, I don't hate him kinda deal.

I think he makes great movies with strong arguments...but then of course I'm a dirty rotten socialst that agrees with many of his views so why listen to me?

On a side note, I once got mistaken for Michael Moore and got egged by some conservative...

Like I said in the other thread, he makes good points and brings up important questions. His problem is not seperating the professional from the personal.

I think him intellectually dishonest. I did, however, select "yes," because I do care about him as a fellow man. I think his work to be impotent in that it convinces nobody. Those who watch it appear to just strengthen the views to which they already held. Hence his work is more divisive than anything else... but then I believe that less is best as concerns government and disagree with much of what he has to say.

Dont care for him nice that hes out trying to educate people and change things I guess but hes a bit of a prat to be hounest, subtletey seems to have completley passed him by in all his endevours and the man is far, far from proffessional at tackling issues. Like the westbro baptist church thing funny but ultimatley futile and acheived nothing and if anything harmed the image of homosexuals.

Hes also just really really annoying and it's frankly laughable when he goes on about health issues at that width.
