No. I like the old dash for the 360 more too. The dash basically takes the PS3's idea and the Mii's are stolen from Wii so I guess Microsoft is really into stealing stuff these days.

It gave me a chance to personalize my Xbox with more then just a re-named HDD, i like my Avatar, sure it doesn't do very much of anything, but really, that's the point, i didn't create the Avatar so i could use it in the games i play, like Nintendo's little cop-out method for not having to make characters in their gimmick-games It's just a nice little feature that to be honest, you DON'T HAVE TO USE.

So if you don't like it, click the option to remove it, and don't bother whining.

they need more clothe types and then they'll be good, mine is just casper the ghost (bald, white skin, tiny ears and a white suit) It turned out all right actually, when i tried making myself i just turned out like some Hemephrodite so fuck trying anymore, casper is the way forward!

well in to that argument. the PS3 has taken the 360's Achivement system. they just changed some words around thats all

That doesn't make any sense because Microsoft didn't invent achievments.

I'm fine with the new interface, really, it doesn't bother me. What I don't want is some retarded looked animated dude sitting there looking retarded whenver my console is idle. They need an option to remove them.

He wasn't making Casper when it turned out hermaphroditic/androgynous, he was trying to make himself.

As for myself I just approximated my distinguishing features then threw on a pair of sunglasses and a spiffy white suit and gloves and everyone recognizes me. And concerning Avatars in general they are much easier to recognize in the friends list than simple names, if nothing else they do that and thus I like them.

NXE came out a while ago and there have been many discussions on this already. Not to be one of those annoying people that say approximately "WTF n00b, uze teh serch btton lol!!!!11" but I'm sure you could have found one thread on this with the search button then made some kind of response to justify thread necromancy and we could simply continue that.

Ugh, I hate the "They stole Nintendo's idea! for shame!" argument. I believe it's been documented that Rare developed the avatars and I don't think idea stealing was the intention...Personal avatars is not solely Nintendo's idea. 'sides they look better than the generic cookie cutter looking mii's IMO.
