Love this game. I used to obsessively play this all the time.

If you click wildly on a beginner you can get them down as small as 3 or 4. Personally I'm not sure if that counts as cheating or not, but it leaves good stats.

I suppose there's also that click-cheat you can get done on XP. But I don't recall it.

Personally mine-sweeper lost its touch for me, plus everyone knows what you're doing. Playing nethack in black and white, however, looks like a crazy assortment of characters. Playing it in a screen session and the ctrl+A D sequence looks like normal typing anyway.

Also what does everyone think about minesweeper. Personally it's one of my favourite games.

Intermediate: 35 sec

I love minesweeper. It's simple but never gets old. I live to see the smiley face at the top of the screen.

I also believe it once got 100% in PCGamer UK.

Agreed. I love that freaking game.

I have over 500 games on it, and a 76% win ratio.

I did have some Expert completed, but that was on another computer.

It's good, but not something I play for a very long time at once.

Beginner: 11 seconds
Intermediate: 82 seconds
Expert: 372 seconds

It's really fun, but the fact that random guessing can make or break the game is a major fault. I've even lost on beginner because of this.

I don't suck, by the way. I beat any game that doesn't make me guess.
