So anywase... Reacently finding this feature in Options And Videos I found out that it was amazeing. Of course after fishing up my 3d Glasses I felt completely and utterly Immerised. Of course I sacraficed coloring completely correctly and complete shadow quality I still felt amazeing. Does anyone else play with this feature on?

I managed to find a pair of those paper red/blue glasses, and it's actually quite amazing in 3D. Try turning 3D on, placing a torch down, and standing above it. You can see the smoke coming out of your screen :D

Its a truly amazing game, a step in the right direction for gaming on might say. It's a break from the same old games, year after year. It also brings out "the inner child" of some people. It is also creates a good immersion when you find out you've been mining for 4 hours.

Ontopic, I would think that Minecraft in 3d would be shit and a bit weird I guess.

Did you play with Lego as a child?

OT: I tried it once, but it wrecked the colors. I might try again if I find another pair of glasses.

I turn 3-D on now and again. I can't play it like that for too long as it just feels weird.

Luckily I keep 3 different types of 3-D glasses in the draws in my desk in case stuff's in 3D.

If i find those old red/blue 3D glases i might try it.

It doesnt work with the real 3D glasses that one might have gotten at the movies sometime in the past year.

I love you.

And yes, I love lego, but it still doesn't make me like Minecraft much.

I wasn't sure what to think about Minecraft, but once you get into it man... there's no escape. Especially when you get a good seed.

I'd agree it's an amazing game, but saying it's a step in the right direction may be a bit much.

It's not really anything more then a sandbox. It needs refining and to actually be completed as opposed to just being a beta.

I gave it a try, but I felt some eyestrain, it was lagging a bit, and the effect didn't really work that well. That's just me, though.

However, the game itself is still awesome.

I don't think he means the fancy Avatar 3D, but rather the old kind of 3D that movies like SpyKids 3D used. I remember those working on my family's old Windows 98, so it should work on modern LCD screens.
Okay, cool. I just need to find a pair of those. I've never owned/used them before. My only experience with 3D was Avatar in IMAX, so I'd really like to try this out (and yes, I understand it's not going to be the same lol).

I've got to say, while I disagree with the overuse of the term "immersion," the loosest definition may apply here. But then, it applies to WoW and MQW2.

Beyond that, I'm not sure how this is a step in the right direction, as there isn't much you ccan take from it and apply to other games (sav, perhaps, for Fortresscraft).

I won't debate that it's fun, and it's amazing what that "inner child" can do. Youtube is rife with examples.
