Maybe the game could pause during inventory management I dunno? You could add hotkeys on the XBL version as well.phenity said:I would love to see you quickly open your inventory, move a spare item to one of your equipped slots, select it, and then attack a creeper with it with a controller. If I know how my inventory is organized (and I do) I can do this in mere seconds.Sober Thal said:Why would it be a bad idea? What does 'It's supposed to be a PC game' mean?Eggsnham said:No, I think it would be a bad idea for any console. I just made a comment about PSN because I have a PS3, not because I think it would be any better on a PS3.Sober Thal said:Wow, fanboy alert!Eggsnham said:Noooooooooo.
It's supposed to be a PC game, it just wouldn't be the same on consoles.
Besides, everybody know PSN is where it's at :]
OP: Sure, sounds like a good idea. I would possibly play it then.
The fact of the matter is that a game like minecraft works better on the PC because it was DESIGNED FOR IT. There is intensive inventory management and it's simply quicker and easier with a mouse, not a joystick. Also, hotkeys and macros for the win.
Porting this game to a console would similarly be the equivalent of porting RTS, MMORPGs, or any game where mice are beneficial solely because they're speedy to a console, and we all know how well that works.
Also, PC gamers have a sense of pride over the fact that this game is a PC exclusive and the fact that console gamers are envious of it makes us feel good. We like it when our exclusive games remain exclusive, just like you do.
But seriously people, your grandma's computer can run this game. Suck it up and just play it on the guddamn pc. You might even enjoy it.
Sure it could pause the game but how would that work in multiplayer? You would be stuck for ages trying to sort your inventoryC95J said:Maybe the game could pause during inventory management I dunno? I should also note that I'm not against PC gaming, just wanted to clarify a few points.
