If KU was on fire and needed my help to put it out I'd pour more gas on the fire. I utterly detest KU to the nth degree. Not hate...that's not nearly as good a word as depise.
Okay, enough fun! KU did well this year with their team but MU was the better team. Coach Anderson has gotten them into a team first mentality and now has WIN in their vocabulary. Even though two starters are graduating, this team isn't a player dominated team. It's a TEAM. Anybody could be the top shooter of the game any day. The recruits are adding some height to the game and they know what to expect the moment they hit the hardwood. They're going to run, run, run and then run some more.
I don't expect MU to repeat the last season. I expect them to do better.
I also like the fact that MU graduates their players now. The NCAA needs to take the scholarships away from the teams that don't have the good grad rates.
By the way KU, I don't hate you as much as I utterly and contemptibly hate the Oakland Raiders. If my Broncos were to only have 2 victories all year long and they were both against the Raiders, then I'd say it was a good year. If it was a choice of losing to the Chiefs so that Oakland wouldn't make the playoffs I'd say let's throw the game. If I could rack up the score against the silver and black by over 100 I'd say let's do it!
