When you are mocked, the odds are that anyone around can see how much of a grade-A pillock the mocker is. When you are interrupted in a way described in the OP, only you take offense. So, I'd go for mocking. As an added bonus, when somebody mocks you, it is quite simple to make a comeback.

I think being mocked is more tolerable. Someone could interrupt you're conversation to inform that you're hair is on fire. Even if someone interrupts me for something that is not important I just take that as them subtly saying that they don't like what I'm talking about but like me (or at least pretend to).

If someone mocks me than they clearly don't like me and think they are better than me. Whether they are better than me or not it doesn't matter, it's still rude.

I hate being interupted. Especially if I've just had to sit through the interuptor talking at me and I am giving them an opinion.

I have gotten use to being interrupted. Mocking doesn't bother me that much because most of the time it's by some idiot. When someone makes a valid insult, then I get mad. I'll say I'd rather be Interrupted.

I'd have to say I'd rather by mocked. Just for the share entertainment value of something honestly thinking they can harm my Massively Multiplayer Ego.
