Okay seriously. I've had enough. Infinity Ward is an utterly useless game developer who is out of touch from their fanbase.
Now let me qualify my statements:
First off, I love MW2 (when it works.) It is my most played game at the moment, taking probably 90% of the time I spend on my 360. MW2 has been pretty full of glitches, bugs and hackers since its release. Now, this wouldn't be a problem if IW acted quickly on these problems. Now I'm no programming expert and fixing cracks in the game probably isn't easy, but I (and many other people, I expect) are getting a bit annoyed by the lack of service and theimprovement maintenance of a game which sold millions of copies at £40 each. It seems that every time a new glitch is patched, a new one appears and IW sit around for a month before fixing it. Surely it doesn't take that long to isolate a dodgy piece of coding and fix it? If it does, the fact that millions of people frequently play the game means that they should employ more people to try to fix it. I have made a list of some of the glitches that have been seen in the 5 months the game has been released for:
Javelin glitch
Modded private matches (usually 18 players on rust)
2 care package glitches
4 perks at once
3 weapons at once
Golden deagle
Thermal VISION
Aimbots
1887s - even after they were patched once
Modded guns (eg auto M16, modded camo)
Nuke in every care package
Leaderboard modding/modded xp lobbies/challenge lobbies
The last one I don't really care about as it doesn't really hurt anyone except for the people who are scammed. (Even then its their own fault) But my point is, 5 months after its release, MW2 is still a broken game, which it shouldn't be. It seems that IW coudn't care less about their fanbase, and that they have made their money and gone home. They should focus some time and effort on fixing their game, or they will surely lose many fans.
EDIT: Poll is broken: should be more options
