Poll: Modern Warfare 3 Timer. A Hoax?

Recently there has been some serious speculation about the release time of Modern Warfare 3 when http://findmakarov.com/ was launched and dogtags with characters from the Modern Warfare series were sent to the press. Activision says its a hoax, but then again, its hard to trust Activision after what they did to Infinity Ward.

Do you think this thing is a hoax, or do you think its a legit marketing move?

Who cares?

There's obviously going to be a Modern Warfare 3, the series generates too much money for there not to be one.
Those who are happy to keep buying the same game over and over will get what they want.
Everyone else will carry on with their day.

When it happens is of little importance.

I gotta admit the voice when he says "Soap" sounds a bit off, like it was recorded on a cheap mic. Usually it all begins with viral advertising, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was. I also don't really care about COD games anymore. (But it's pretty obvious this will sell millions again)

Publicity stunt.

We know there will be one so Activision puts out a teaser in the form of this countdown clock and then when the rumours start to spread they deny them so that they can officially announce it at a later date in a bid to manufacture more unwarranted hype.
