Poll: mods, have you ever used them?

Okay this can be for online play or for games like fall out and stuff because i relized I used quest help on WoW wich is technically a mod. I just call them mods. I have noticed that there are people who have modded controlers, There are also people who are 10th prestige in MW2 and have played 13 secounds. Do you use them? if so,then in single player or multiplayer? why?

never on multiplayer, but on single player, several times. Only once i used mods to finish a game(Call of Ctuhlu), the final part was imposable otherwise...but mostly i use them on single player games for fun!

Well, not on a multiplayer game, but if I want to have fun on a single player game, then I sometimes do.

Mods and hacking or cheating are completely different please learn this difference before posting as doing stuff you have mentioned is completely different from modding. No you can't mod a controller to get to 10th prestiege in about 13 secs.

not in multiplayer, or well, i did in diablo 2, but common it was the 90s everybody did it, heck you could barely join a match without hitting level 99 and get all sorts of epic gear by killing one mob.

For fuck's sake. It's just called cheats, or hacks, if you prefer more "1337" words. My actual response for your questions would be - yes, especially mods like Counter Strike or Team Fortress, but I also love modded Stalker and various RPG titles, like KOTOR, Morrowind and Fallout 2/3.

If you mean hacking software, then no, I like my games pure and clean.

A question - how the hell is it possible to mod a controller?

No, I don't use mods to cheat. I can never really enjoy a game when I do that, because I know that I'm only winning because I have cheated. Plus I always think of how much it sucks to play against someone that is hacking. I don't want to subject people to that kind of torment. It can really ruin a gaming experience.

On ps3 at least there was a glitch that you could get to Prestige 10 instantly. It's now been patched but it wasn't a modded controller

I don't use cheats in single player games, but I don't look at people who do any differently. In multi player games it's a whole different story though. You are depriving people of enjoyment who spent just as much to buy the game as you. People who cheat in online games need to have their IP's permanently blocked, they don't deserve the online features they bought.
