Well, you don't list any. But basically werewolves.
Werewolves and the Thing... so would that include Alex Mercer?

Hm, ponderous.

Well, I know the Escapist Basement Monster enjoyed eating your poll...

However, I do believe I would enjoy being a large mechanized self-regenerative draconic monstrosity powered by darkness and endless wailing damned souls with the power to destroy planets.

Or as I called it, the Wrathwyrm.

That's staggeringly original. Did you come up with it yourself?
Perhaps it can be referred to as the Darkshadow, the Bloodrager, the Ravenblack Nightbringer and similar things.

No, I'm making your fantastically original creation better. It's so legendary it's gathered all these supercool nicknames, you see.

A Hydra, doesn't just regenerate but gets stronger with each wound, has powerful poisons and you need fire to kill it.

My favorite monster at the moment just because I laugh at how(Before I researched it and found the truth.)I was so scared of him, is Slender Man.

Initially he scared me quite a bit because for awhile I thought he was real then I remembered that monsters generally have some form of simple misunderstanding behind them. Such as werewolves being people with a genetic hair disorder that gives them hair all over their body.

Once I looked deeper and actually found and read the Something Awful thread were Slender Man originated from I felt my fear releive and then I laughed at how silly I was and still do.

A monster from the internet? No, it's the internet that's the monster.

Errm.

I take it you missed the part where very similar creatures and folklore actually do exist, and have done for hundreds of years?

Yeah. Sorry.

Yeah. Sorry.
Similer does not mean the same, and folklore as the name would suggest are just storys and can't truely hurt you.

Also if you can show me something that looks exactly like Slender Man that isn't a human in a suit I will be amazed.

But be sure to NOT show me a human... Humans are scary enough on their own. :p

So would I. Chiefly because he tends to look like a human in a suit. Just with no face. And occasionally tentacles.

By extension, though, does The Tall Man from XDAS seem less scary, cause there's a half-arsed similar thing running round?
