Your options are very negatively loaded, theres no "I never intended to switch as I didnt over react" option.PrototypeC said:When the horrible event first happened, a lot of people were threatening to quit Sony products forever, or at least the PS3. There was talk about clearing accounts and selling systems (sometimes smashing). My question of the day is: did you go through with it? Did you have to respond drastically to the drastic situation?
Now, during this whole fiasco is when I got my PS3. I think it's why I could get it for such a low price! Then it was just a matter of using a brand-new ID, password and only buying the PSN cash cards for online purchases. No trail, no mess. I kind of wondered why so many people used their credit cards and real names, to be totally honest.
Maybe we can take a stab at how many Escapists switched over to Microsoft.
Bailing is not the same as punishing. I would bail the internet service simply because it's been proven that the PSN is insecure. I don't put my credit card number where I know it's insecure.psicat said:You need another option on your poll because I never even thought about bailing. Why would I get rid of my ps3 over something that stupid, that isn't even Sony's fault.
You didn't have to make a choice because you're able to afford all that.Juk3n said:Im an adult and a hardcore gamer, i own every current gen console, with that said, PSN went down, i played a bit of xbox, PSN came back, i played a bit of xbox, and then some PS3, and then a lil PC, and then some DS. Then i played some more PS3 and some PS3 and then a little xbox because a friend of mine returned my orange box wihich he's had for like ever, then i played some xbox.
then i went to work and read some book.
got home played some DS
surfed some web and played some PC.
Then some xbox
then some PS3.
you see my point. dick measuring is for kids. Game or don't, i didnt have to make a choice, why did most of you?
Still makes no sense to me, no online service is 100% secure. Anyone has to have the common sense to know that and either use a secure card for any and all online purchases or only use PSN cards and Microsft Points cards for console marketplace purchases.zehydra said:Bailing is not the same as punishing. No frothing at the mouth, no huge overreacting, but still a threat to switch over. Would "pledge" be a better word for you, or what?"I don't know if I feel safe giving Sony all my info again. I'm going to switch to 360."
