I'm from the west midlands and yes both the birmingham and black country accent are the worse accents in the world and so depressing egh. The posher areas of the west midlands are ok though haha

Haha, unlucky for some! I must agree though-i was listening to a guy reasoning about something and i seriously felt so tired suddenly...just a bit dreary i think.

I don't know, I just do. I dated a girl for quite a while who was from Finland. And I just loved her accent. Idk, might have something to do with ya'll inventing the Molotov cocktail.

On the note of Icelandic accents. They just sound so sweet. It's like a lullaby being played.

Haha although i'd drather be depressed with the bham accent than the scouser accent which goes right through me. Yorkshire has a cool accent and so does sommerset down south, i've noticed when people say somerset in their accent haha

Accents with soft sounds are much more appealing, personally, than guttural ones, like German.
But I think it differs across gender; certain accents sound slimy on men whilst nice on women, and vice versa.

Which Uni are you at? You should DEFINITELY go and study in Ireland. They're probably all Irish there...lol. Come to Sunderland - a.k.a Mackemland. We also have Canadians and Americans, but the best is definitely the Irish woman. Her middle name's O'Malley, for Christ's sake...how can you get more Irish than that????

Studing in Ireland would be best but id end up drooling at any person who talks to me, even if its just "do you want fries with that"

Im studing in brighton, we don't have many irish here one canadian girl who doesn't talk much and posh people. It's like I feel poor everytime I utter a word around these people!

In the interest of being different, and already in love with a sexy English female accent, I choose french as my next favourite sexy accent, something about a beautiful woman talking in french just makes me want to do ballet. My third choice other then those two would probably be carribean (dependant upon who) some carrebean accents sound like jibberish, while others sound 'sexy latina' as hell.

I find spanish and russian accents too strong and aggressive at times and American accent fluctuates, sometimes incredibly sexy, but quite a bit of the time downright paris-hilton-like........which isn't a good thing ¬_¬

I know what you mean on the caribbean accents, I personally am from P.R. and I have no idea what people from places like Santo Domingo say in english >.>.
