The people at Fox and Friends are assholes, but I actually believe that this particular instance is being misinterpreted. Watch the video again, every time one of them says "Mr. Rogers is evil" they start laughing. It definitely seems to me like they're being sarcastic and making fun of the "experts" who are blaming Mr. Rogers for the poor performance of American students.

And the champion stood, the rest saw the better. Mister Rogers in a blood stained sweater.

Now I don't know this guy. But come on. If he is evil for saying that you are special then Barney the Dinosaur should be some kind of purple hellspawn from ancient times...

Watch Fox News only if you need to vent at stupid people. Besides, he was an ordained minister, why isn't Fox kissing his feet? They are all over religion and family so why aren't they trying to go down on him?

Everyone knows that Mr. Rogers is Mr. Dress-up's evil brother.

(For those who don't know, Mr. Dress-up is a similar (yet WAY better) show from Canada.)

Are there no depths Fox won't sink to?

Attacking a dead man who made kids feel good about themselves- no, BECAUSE he made kids feel good about themselves. I don't know what personal beef these assholes have with dear old Mr. Rogers, but that's what this is, a personal attack.

Sensationalism is a form of new where you blame something for the world's problem. That's why you find the most innocent stuff (Disney for example) and say it promote Pornography (Because one of the tower on the little Mermaid look a dick, which if it is mean that the churches did that for centuries.) That's why you need to research the source of those claim to know if it legit or not.

FYI: Real example.

Oh, fuck this shit! Fuck you Fox, Mr. Rogers is dead, and during his time alive he taught kids to believe in themselves. And you're trying to tarnish his memory by making him out to be some kind of villain? You bastards.

Well, I can't say I'm surprised, this is the same corporation that canned Firefly.

"You're special if you work hard."

No, I'm pretty sure the miracle of someone giving birth to you, and being a person makes you special.
Anyone who thinks human life is special needs to spend a few years in a third world country.
I'm not entirely sure of what you're trying to say. They're not special because of the circumstances they live in?
I think he's trying to remind you that there are plenty of places that put very little to no value in human life.

The guy is dead! What the hell Fox.... oh.... wait.... i suppose expecting actual news out of fox is a little much.

Sure, i may not agree with the whole "YOu're automatically special" thing, but i do think that Rogers got across the point that everybody has the potential to be special. "Everyone is special" maybe a little misguided, maybe a little optimistic, but EVIL!

However, i think that many of these other escapists are right, this is just trolling. They're trying to see just how worked up they can get people. Then again, it could also be jealousy, becasue even after all this time, people still believe Mr. Rogers sugary happy fun talk more than they believe any of the tripe and bile that Fox spews every day.

Fox news, show us just how special you are, i am sure there is a volcano somewhere in the world, why don't you go and do an exclusive, in-depth, on-the-ground, report on that.

Myth he wasn't a war hero. During the war he declined to enlist so he can make his show.

Fox News has just sunk to a new low. That's just pathetic, and yet people still watch them and are taken seriously

Fox is evil, and so is everything affiliated with them

Mr. Rogers ruined a generation of kids? I loved Mr. Drogers as a kid, and now they are calling him evil beause he told people they were special for being themselves? I actually feel physically sick after listening to that
