Poll: MUDs

Does anyone on the escapist play or have played MUDs. I use to During summer breaks I try out a few but I haven't played them in a while, I think they disappeared for the most part.

I played the IRE muds (especially Achaea) for something like seven years. I feel like most of them stopped seeing much in the way of major change after a while and I eventually stopped playing, but they're still easily among my favourite games I've played.
