Look, perhaps my playstyle is rather limited, but I don't think I've been killed at all by a minigun as a demo man weilding the charge sheild, the nastasha is the only single weapon that consistantly stops it, and, again, it fucks pyros over should they be in open space (though a pyro running directly at a heavy is in trouble anyway). I suppose the MG would be better for destroying sentries, but in the servers I play this isn't an issue as it's typically demomen or spies that target them, leaving heavies free to stop the inevitable counter grenade spam or pyro flaming.Flying-Emu said:much text
Both the soldier and the heavy probably can do the 'jack of all trades' play styles, but it's so very effective to specialise and collaborate with the rest of your team, and it's simply inarguable that having the option of using the natascha or dh is not an advantage. Bear in mind that I'm arguaing against leveled items at all, tf2 is a game where it's done abnormally well, if I was to argue my point over any other game on any other platform, it would be a lot less reliant on specific playstyles.
