A lot of people are annoyed about their console's version of a multiplatform game getting the short end of the stick when it comes to downloadable content. It sucks.

If you could, would you download a cracked version of the Lost and the Damned, to play on the PC? Or perhaps the Bioshock challenge levels? Is this immoral?

Because they are actually getting DLC on their console? How is that the short end of the stick, again?

I would, but is it immoral? Probably, but I don't have a damn 360.

If your not paying for content that you should be it is immoral. The real question is, "Do you even care?"

If companies insist on ripping us off with shoddy DLC I have no qualms about pirating it. Valve is the only company I trust enough to throw money at right now, which is kind of ironic since their DLC is free.

Bethesda made a pretty sweet deal with The Pitt Fallout 3 DLC (I bought it for PC only).

depends if the DLC is good, and depends if I actually give a damn about the game.

Lost and Damned for instince, I probably wouldn't, mainly because I almost didn't buy GTAIV, the only reason I did was because all my friends got it and were playing on multiplayer and didn't want to play COD4 or Halo 3 with me :(

So I bought it because my friends did... I'm such a tool

The real answer is no.
The answer I am going to give is yes.
...If you do give a shit about how moral your actions are then you wouldn't illegally download DLC. Honestly though, very few people care how moral their actions are so long as they stand to benefit from it.

Bioshock challenge levels? What are this?
This are some extra challenging rooms added on to Bioshock for the PS3 version. It was exclusive. blah blah blah, a string of rooms with difficult enemies.

I don't follow, if the DLC sucks why are you going to the trouble of stealing it?

Well that's a fair point I guess, but sometimes bad content is enjoyable, at least to a few people. When I was playing version 1.0 Crucis Fatal Fake (Japan only fighting game) I fully acknowledged that it was bad from almost every objective standpoint, but I liked it because it had characters from a VN/anime that I was quite fond of.
