I'm gonna edit the OP to ask a couple more questions, just to help discussion and stuff:
Did you have proper tuition or learn by yourself?
Are you in a band or anything?

Well I just got to mess with a set of turn-tables that were a freinds for a few minutes, till he caught me recording it. He actually told me it was pretty good, a little rough, but good. Im kind of proud of that fact since I had never done it before. Now he lets me mess with it every now and again.
Well that counts as an instrument I think, especially if you are putting effort into it and practicing. I mean djs perform as well so maybe... I'm not sure if other musicians will hate me for this or not, but it requires just as much talent.
Oh I totally agree mate, I'm a guitarist/singer. Djing is a very complicated task, a lot that goes on, that people underestimate!

I play electric bass, a very little bit of upright bass, keyboard, I program MIDI with Reason 4, and I can harmonize (with a few tries and a bit of luck)

Electric bass is my main instrument, I've played it for a bit over 2 years. I am studying it at uni. I've been in a few bands, one of them played two shows at The Globe (anyone from Brisbane?), recorded a two track demo and made a film clip.

I play anything but prefer groove based stuff (rather then straight 8s). I can read music but I find chord charts and lead sheets so much better. I have a pretty good grasp on theory which I have found so handy and recommend it to anyone even the slightest bit serious about music.

I can talk about music for hours and after a few drinks I will, regardless of if you are a musician or not.

I felt like making another poll, so I searched again and found nothing really related to this:

Do you have any musical ability?
I've separated singing and playing an instrument, since for a few people, playing a musical instrument could be related to hhether their parents buy them one or something?? I Really don't know to be honest but it seems an okay idea.

Personally, I sing and play the flute.

EDIT:
Just to help discussion and stuff:

Did you have proper tuition or learn by yourself?
Are you in a band or anything?
At the same time? :)

Thank you, I dont like when people give my idols flak for DJing. Ive never really found it hard, I just mix what I like and thow in some effects and stuff. Like I said Ive never been taught or really practice. Its like picking up guitar and learning to play completely on your own, you just kinda go with it.

I don't know if this is a promo, but yes, I sing in a band called Steel Scream (not to be mistaken with : The Steel Scream Project) and I play guitar, the flute, piano and bagpipes.

So yes, I am a talented mothertucker

I'm pro (fairly speaking) at electric guitar, trumpet and tuba. Then I can play the drums and electric base.

Oh, I nearly forgot to tell you about my signing voice which leaves everyone speechless - in a bad kind of way.

I can play guitar, and (though it's really not very useful to me) half a dozen brass instruments, stemming mostly from my trumpet and trombone training. I'm also a classically and jazz trained singer, which was the big part of why I joined music in the first place. I have a nice 2 octave range from high tenor, to a decently low bass range. I'm well versed in musical terminology, know my chord structures and progressions. Before high school was out, I'd written 7 vocal quartet arrangements.

My musical background is one of the few bits of schooling that I'm supremely proud of.

I know it's very laste to replt to this, but ah well...

It is actually possible to sing at the same time! You just sing a note, while using the air to blow into the flute :D

I can't do either, not that I wouldn't want to but I lack the patience for it.

I used to play the violin, but not very extensively. I can play "Twinkle, twinkle, little star" though!

I play alto sax and piano. I got tuition for the grades and whatnot, but as far as jazz improvisation (pretty much all I do now) goes I'm almost completely self-taught.

I've been told by my musically inclined mates that I'm a pretty decent player, and people who aren't all that experienced in that kind of thing think I'm some sort of super-genius.

My opinion? I'm average. Not bad, but not the crazy-skilled jazz god some people make me out to be.

I play bass guitar and upright bass to relatively high levels. I can also play some guitar and basic drums. I can't sing for the life of me.

I am selftaught and prefer playing jazz, blues, funk, motown, disco and classic rock. But I'll play anything with a good groove.

I usually sing some (when there's noone around). And it goes quite well, if I stick to my own vocal scale. Not too high, not too low.

I can play guitar also. But, hey. Everyone can play guitar.

Proudly, self learnt on this subject too. (as on using comma (you can see that, eh)
