A question that's been bugging me

As in, "do I find people with musical abilities more attractive", or "do I find professional musicians attractive"?

This poll needs a "depends" option, I'd say.

Well, my boyfriend's in a band so that's one musician I find attractive.
I suppose it depends on the type of musician but there's something sexy about it.

If I find someone attractive I don't care if they are a musician, McDonalds burger maker or street sweeper.

There's a pretty big difference there. A McDonalds employee can hook you up with burgers, and a musician probably knows the guys to ask for the best drugs.

Or, if they're not successful, the cheap high.

I kid. No musician goes for the expensive stuff. >.>

Personally, playing an instrument makes someone somewhat sexier to me, but if I don't find them attractive before, I probably won't find them attractive after either.

Depends, what genre(s) do they play and are they any good? If the answer to the former is something I like and the answer to the latter is yes, then I'd probably be throwing myself at them.

I'm straight and don't feel attracted to any female musicians to be honest. But I can sort of see why girls would be attracted to musicians more than normal people. Hard to describe really.

I find people with an artistic talent attractive, but I don't consider musicians to be more attractive than a painter or an actor for example.

Yes. In a kind of hypocritical way, I never understand when people are obsessed with the physical appearance of actors and general celebrities but I do the same with musicians.

Music is everything to me and I, myself, am a musician (drummer) and I go batshit gaga over women like Brody Dalle from Distillers and Hayley Williams from Paramore. I also look at guys like Andy Williams from Every Time I Die and think 'he would just look like a redneck trucker if he wasn't a badass musician'
