Poll: MW2 Boycotters question.

have had no problems with IW net actually
Play Multiplayer with friends
Have a great time pretty much every time
Considering this is my third call of duty game ever i would say it is win

Didn't buy it, didn't miss much. I still prefer CoD4 over 6 though. One of the major reasons why, is that I've never played an FPS without a console, and I'm not starting now. For those that use the console, reason doesn't need to be said.

Bugt really why is this coming up now, so long after the game was released. Anyway, if it's not the L4D2 boycotters, it's MW2 boycotters.

Both may unfortunately exist, but things would still be a lot better if we didn't hear them.

All I'm asking is if you said you were going to boycott it, did you keep to your word.

I didn't buy it because I don't like playing online multiplayer, so I don't think the price is worth it for the shortass single player campaign. It's still selling for over £40 in the UK. I'd rather buy something that'll last me more than 6 hours for that price. Like £40 worth of Haribo's maybe.

Well, I had never played multiplayer of MW1 and I got it on the 360, so boycotting it was something I hadn't considered. I would definitely like to have seen more control over the multiplayer on the console versions. Besides being able to set up your own map list, my ideal round of MW2 would be one with increased health (so that if someone shoots you in the back, you actually have time to spin round to return fire). Oh, and no combat knifes or "n00btubes".

No, I am certainly not buying it for the PC, but I am still deciding if I should buy it on the 360. That is all my friends play, but I dont really think a multiplayer game is worth 60$.

I didn't buy it because I don't like first-person anything, but a lot of people do genuinely enjoy it. What are you trying to accomplish?

I didn't buy it. I pirated it for the single player (as i clearly stated in another post, i would have bought it if they charged 35$ and only offered the single player campaign). I played online through the pirated version and found the game to be frustrating and overall terrible.

Rented it, didn't like it much, didn't buy it, went back to COD 4 and I am now waiting for COD 7 cause it's in fucking Nam. Ive always wanted to play a COD that is in Nam.

I bought it on PC and according to Steam I've just hit 100hours played on it, I think about 90% of those 100hours were extremely enjoyable and well worth the money I paid. The 10% was spent being infuriated by certain points of SP on Veteran and IW being a useless piece of shit.

Overall it's well worth it if you can look past the few but rather large flaws, like a hot woman with a dick hanging off her face.

Oh and for all the people singing the praises of BFBC2 you should know that while it will have dedicated servers you will have to rent them from DICE only so that means no mods.

That's just completely unattractive. How bout' a hot woman with a rather large and unsightly mole in an inconvenient place on her face where it's highly noticeable? That seems more livable.

For those who didn't buy it, you didn't miss a whole lot. Especially if you've played MW. I'm having too much fun on MAG to care about MW2 now.

I haven't bought it yet simply because it is overpriced and overhyped.

Screw boycott, no one boycotted Daikatana, they just didn't buy it because it was shit. I mean I went into a freaking games store, where it is their JOB to sell games and they recommended that I don't buy it.

I'm not saying I will never get it, might pick it up when the price hits $10 in a few months/years from now but seriously, there are so many other games. And even then I'll just give the single player a go and that's it. From what I hear it it's less modern warfare and more Michael Bay... pass me the bucket.

I also have NO interest in online. I mean what do I get that is new?

-dual wielding lever-action shotguns (WTF, did a 13 year old design this game?)
-other features which would be easier to just mod into COD4.

It certainly isn't worth sacrificing low-latency, epic 50-player matches and £40 for THAT!

Yes but at times IW makes MW2 completely unplayable at times and therefore penis+face comparison is sound and just.
