Poll: MW2 Famas vs M16

This seems to be a very popular topic, and now i bring it to the escapist.

Personally i prefer the famas, looks nicer and i use it with silencer and red dot.

But what are your opinions.. let me know

I feel that the FAMAS is a hell of alot better at range because there is less time between each individual bullet, meaning all 3 in a burst are more likely to hit your target.

In real life if given the choice between the two I'd go with an M-16, I have experience with one and AR-15's are common as dirt here so there's a plentiful source for most of the major spare parts you'd need in a zombie apocalypse/survival situation.

In the game? I have no fucking idea.

The M-16 is (in my opinion) the best all round long range weapon on non hardcore maps, Famas is pretty much an ACR on burst, which really doesnt work that well.

I use FAMAS over M16 anytime. M16 has shitty accuracy and long range it feels like the bullets just get blown away by the wind.

OP: I don't play Mw2, but I prefer the FAMAS in real life.

You can,but you need a pretty good mod-kit to do it,so it's alot harder than on an M4.
For compensation,you can use rifle-grenades.
Archaic,but having every soldier having a small improvised mortar is a decent bonus.

Um... never used either but my little brother prefers the FAMAS. I tried the M-16 and found it to be decent but I just don't think I'll use it. As far as the ARs are concerned in that game, I stick with the SCAR-H, M4, FAL and F2000 (yes you read that right, I'm even pretty damn good with it) most of the time, switching to fit my mood.

In real life I think I'd go for the M-16 because it's proven itself. Though if given free choice I'd probably go for one of the SCAR variants.

Well since I refuse to use the FAMAS because it's french and I hate anything that is french I obviously go with the M-16
