Seriously, Mechwarrior 2 was way better.
I thought the acronym was for Mad World 2, a sequel that doesn't actually exist, but my lack of curiosity never figured out what it was until it was launched!

I was rolling around Youtube the other day (yes, like a pig rolling in filth) when I came across a posted video of the Mechwarrior 2 intro. Being close to my heart, I gave it a look. The video was fine, but looking in the comments made me groan in dismay.

"LOL This isnt Modern Warefare 2"
"FAKE!!!"
"Is this modern warefare 3 with robots?"

Will the acronym MW mean Mechwarrior or Modern Warfare to you?
Or differently, do you have a habit of reading an acronym for something as something completely different?

could you link it perhaps? I wanna see the comments firsthand.

Sad that MW2 is Modern Warfare 2. Maybe Mech Warrior 2 can be Mech2
