Poll: My Mom Likes Video Games

My mom hates anything with more buttons than her truck, so playing games isn't really an option with her.
My grandma, on the other hand, decided she wanted to try playing Ghost Recon with me once.
She decided it wasn't her thing after a couple of minutes, but I'll always remember her willingness to try.

Well my mum is one of the few mothers who bought a wii and still actually plays it. So yes, I guess that qualifies her liking games.
Though, she does dislike incredibly violent games but hey, to each their own, as the saying goes.

My mom doesn't like me playing games (at least the violent ones) but she knows I like them and she doesn't bother me about them. As long as I do my work first, she is fine with it, which is not a problem with me. She does like games like solitaire and bejeweled though.

Back in the day she wanted to play balloon fight and bubble bobble with me. I've been trying to get her to play portal now.
My mom's a bibliophile, my dad can't stop watching TV, and I am addicted to video games. I guess we all have our escapist medium 
My mom plays Bingo and a couple other facebook games. As far as console/computer games, she doesn't like them but doesn't hate them either. She's always helped support my gaming habit and never thought it made me a killer or anything.
She owns a Wii and a Nintendo 64, which she plays regularly. She's finished the Banjo games and DK64 maybe twenty times each. and both Mario Galaxys at least three times with both characters. And she can hold her own playing Mario Kart online, or with us on the 64, when we're all home for Christmas or something.
I know my mom used to play them when she was in her 20's, but she doesn't care for them anymore. She also doesn't really care if I play them as long as I get all my stuff done.
Well, my mom never played games and they were not really on her radar. I am significantly older then most of you, so that is not a suprise. I do like games and I have a 19 year old (who apparently just joined these forums...). I am not as hard core as she is but I do have 2+ years into world of warcraft and I love Fall Out 3 so that has to cound for something right?
