Joking aside, I voted for Greek. I studied Greek mythology in high school (via a class and God of War), so I know quite a bit about them and I like it a lot. My knowledge of Norse comes from a few movies and video games, so I'm no scholar of the subject. And I hardly know anything about Egyptian other than Ra and Isis.

Oh, and another good choice you forgot to mention (or more likely ran out of space in your poll) is Egyptian. Got some good stuff going on there as well.

Favorite weird tidbit about Egyptian Mythology - the Ancient Egyptians believed that semen was poisonous, in fact the words are almost identical in both hieroglyphic and English translation, so a lot of myths have to do with... well, semen. And, well, people's handling of it. Reading about it always reduces me to giggles.

But yeah, most of the ridiculous, kinky-sexy stuff happens in Egyptian (semen-fear), Norse (Loki, a MALE god, turning into a female horse then giving birth to Sleipnir), and Greco-Roman (how many animals does Zeus/Jupiter turn into to take advantage of women? I lost count).

OP - I voted Norse because I've enjoyed Norse set games more than Greco-Roman games, but storywise, I enjoy both equally. Being 3/4ths Italian I suppose I should have gone Greco-Roman but... meh. In Age of Mythology I always preferred the Norse.

Also, Helen was not born from an egg. Leto gave birth to two sets of twins the normal, human way. One set was Castor/Helen, fathered by Zeus, and the other was Pollux/Hermia (I think it was Hermia, anyway), fathered by her husband, whom she'd slept with before Zeus showed up a'la swan. So, Zeus got sloppy seconds.

Play Age of Mythology, a rather old RTS now, I think it came out in like, 2002 or 2003, with the expansion Age of Titans coming out not long after. You can play as Norse, Egyptian or Greek, and playing the really long, complicated story mode allows you to taste all 3. It also includes trips into Erebus, for funzies. Lots of different Gods and beasties to choose from, and you can read up a lot about the mythology right in the game.

Im a fan of all mythologies, but the one that fascinates me to no end is Hinduism. The iconography, the concepts, the stories. You know the first mention of an atomic weapon comes from The Mahabharata, one of the two great epics of Ancient India? I mean, how do you beat that?

I know, it's definitely an untapped resource when it comes to games. The Vedas have massive storylines with hundreds of intersecting characters (for RPGs), epic battles (for hack'n slashers), riddle contests (for puzzlers) and lots of boning (to make the strangest dating sim ever).

lol, risking sounding like a broken record, there's Age of Mythology. I spent hours in that games encyclopedia learning different things, and Egyptian is one of them. I learned most of mine from a HUGE book of world myths. If it wasn't in my parents house in NY while I'm in MA, I'd tell you the exact name ><

Not broken if you're talking about Age of Mythology. Simply amazing game. One of the best RTS games of its time.

I like almost all of them to be honest, BUT if I have to choose just one, it would have to be Greco-Roman.

I will say Egyptian is interesting and weird as hell, they have some very weird stories how their gods were created.
