This just sounds bad. Naruto isn't that graphic but they're definitely going to need to edit it in every possible way. Naruto does have blood, so that's gone, its got fighting, so that's gone, its got breast, so that's gone as well. Disney will neuter this show so bad they might as well change the name. It gonna get a more Americanized mainstream appeal so young kids will watch.

The English dubbing ruined Naruto, in my opinion, so I can't even imagine what Disney will do to it. *Shudders*

The blood will turn into rainbows, and all of the obscene scenes will be censored by a blaring Hannah Montana song.

Shippuden isn't very good. They spend several minutes just standing around, padding the time. So, yeah, I really don't care.

On the other-hand, if it was going to Nickelodeon, I might be interested. Considering that they have The Avatar.

That's a horrible idea, what with the killing, and the slaughter, and the village distruction (spoiler alert) and the skin peeling off when Naruto goes Yonbi form, and ripping out people's souls to rip information from them, and then sending the soul to a massive possibly pagan idol to be devoured... yeah, not gonna go over well.

Naruto.....it started so good with such great story and background....

I am aware that a great percentage of people who watch Naruto are very young, young enough perhaps to still possibly enjoy watching shows like Zack and Cody, but seriously? Naruto can be pretty sinister, bloody, brutal even - I'm afraid certain elements of it may have to be altered to make it into more appropriate "Disney material".

I wish I was trolling but I was watching Disney XD when I saw a commercial talking about a bunch of new shows. THe strange thing is Naruto Shippuden wasn't even featured prominently. It was mentioned in passing and never brought up again. I was stunned by the fact that they got Shippuden but that they had to nerve to treat it like a fifth wheel in their new fall line up.

I stopped watching naruto and bleach long ago. The Manga's pretty cool actually, I'd rather read it for 10 min than watch a 23 min episode

Shippuden is more mature than the original series and this is where I don't think it's a good fit. On the other hand, it's a solid set of Story arcs and should get much American exposure, which Disney is fantastic at. I hope it doesn't lose it's identity. Maybe Bleach can get/stay on Spike or Adult Swim.
