How in the world is it aimed at a female audience? As far as I can see it's aimed at the same audience as every other Pixar film: everyone.Yoshisummons said:It'll be their first movie to be aimed at the female audience so I'm interested to see how it turns out

On that subject, there's not much we can get out of a thirty second trailer, and I seriously doubt it's going to carry the emotional punch Toy Story 3 had, but it looks good.
And...? You're suggesting Tomb Raider was aimed primarily at women? Or that Charlie St. Cloud was primarily aimed at men? I'm not seeing an automatic connection between the character's sex and the intended audience (particularly from a thirty second trailer).Yoshisummons said:The protagonist looked like a girl.Dense_Electric said:How in the world is it aimed at a female audience? While I do agree that this movie is aimed towards everyone, and will probably appeal to all demographics like every other Pixar movie, I do kind of agree with Yoshisummons... IMO, its aimed at females the same way that Pocahontas and Mulan are aimed at females... Sure, they're great movies that everybody can enjoy regardless of gender, but who is more likely to buy a Mulan or Pocahontas toy, a little boy or a little girl?Dense_Electric said:And...? Before becoming a Bronie, I may have believed in that argument.EdwardOrchard said:While I do agree that this movie is aimed towards everyone, and will probably appeal to all demographics like every other Pixar movie, I do kind of agree with Yoshisummons...
