I really don't know what to say. It looked good, and it mad want to see what the movie is about, but that's about it.

Curse you teaser trails!

Not much to see from a trailer that short, but if it's a Pixar movie, it's generally a safe bet that it'll be good. I'm excited. Also filled with dread that this will somehow be even more depressing than Toy Story 3 was.

That looks interesting. I don't see a lot of animated fantasy movies. I'll have to check this one out.

Pixar is a company that is essentially an anomaly. They consistently produce above average movies and although people did have negative things to say about Cars 2, I don't believe that the company is anywhere close it's capacity for excellence.

Woo anything for Pixar gets a thumbs up from me. I love their originality, their aesthetics, and the fact that they don't talk down to their audience even though their making children's movies.

And this one seems to star a girl! That's a first for Pixar! Yay!

I like it to be honest. Reminds me of a mix between How to Train Your Dragon and The Secret of Kells, and both those were really good. So I'll be seeing this.

It'll be their first movie to be aimed at the female audience so I'm interested to see how it turns out

How in the world is it aimed at a female audience? As far as I can see it's aimed at the same audience as every other Pixar film: everyone.

On that subject, there's not much we can get out of a thirty second trailer, and I seriously doubt it's going to carry the emotional punch Toy Story 3 had, but it looks good.

And...? You're suggesting Tomb Raider was aimed primarily at women? Or that Charlie St. Cloud was primarily aimed at men? I'm not seeing an automatic connection between the character's sex and the intended audience (particularly from a thirty second trailer).

While I do agree that this movie is aimed towards everyone, and will probably appeal to all demographics like every other Pixar movie, I do kind of agree with Yoshisummons... IMO, its aimed at females the same way that Pocahontas and Mulan are aimed at females... Sure, they're great movies that everybody can enjoy regardless of gender, but who is more likely to buy a Mulan or Pocahontas toy, a little boy or a little girl?

For all we know that little girl is part of a gang of four or five kids involved in a bigger movie scheme and this teaser is just highlighting one of them - at least just from viewing it.

I think it has an appealing feel to it in what I've seen - and I do like Pixar works in general. I don't have kids myself, but several of my friends are mothers already with toddlers in school - which is not unusual in one's late 20's- and it's nice to be able to have something on that everyone in the room can enjoy without being concerned about a little one overhearing or seeing something they're going to repeat to their great-grandmother or something down the line.

PS: if some magic forum facilitator fixed my avatar showing up - thank you! <3

Before becoming a Bronie, I may have believed in that argument.

But alas, ponies have made fools of us all.

This movie is obviously coining off of the whole "little child + loss of innocence = oscar" formula. On the other hand, it's Pixar. This movie is going to be great regardless.
Also, about bronies being the "revolution" of men being allowed to find cute things cute, albeit on the internet only (which kind of defeats the purpose due to anonymity), anime had long beat you to the chase years ago. Just that nowadays the internet has amplified the "bandwagon" effect to insurmountable levels in the past few years.
