Poll: New Pokemon Game?

Now I know I'll get a lot of comments on this thread saying that Pokemon needs to finally die, which I agree with, but seeing as I'm sure we can all agree that is not going to happen in the next 200 years I'd like to ask this question. Should Nintendo go for a new generation completey, a spin off similar to the mystery dungeon games, or should they follow some sort of pattern and put out a DS remake for the 3rd generation of games (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald)?

And please try to avoid arguing about Pokemon needing to finally die. That is not the discussion matter...

I would actually find it cool if they made a darker Pokemon game aimed at a more mature audience.

Well, since I am completely and utterly sick of Pokemon (and have been since I finished the first one), I'll go with a spin off. It needs to be something new if I'm ever going to enjoy it. If I want to play the same game again I'll play the same game again, not spend £40 on a different name and nothing else.

Why cnt i have a pokemon game for once that lets me play as team rocket. it would be a way better story than the one they been milking for what now. over 10-12 years now.

In all honesty, I think the next Pokemon game is likely to be the regular third-in-trilogy game, like Emerald or Platinum. So, uhh, Pokemon Greyscale, I guess.

A decent spin-off game would be nice though. The Ranger series was alright, and Mystery Dungeon has an interesting premise, even if it wasn't executed very well, I think.
