Poll: New to the Escapist/ Floaters like me.

So this is my first one ever being a member of the escapist for a long time now just wondering how many new people are new on here (those that have been members for under a year). Plus how many are like me just skulking in the shadows so to speak.

Since I came here for March Mayhem in 2009, I didn't indulge in any lurking beforehand. Getting close to four years now.

So does that mean you're in direct competition with sharks? Because I think they might have an advantage in their natural habitat...

Nah, it was a thread by FranbunnyFFXII. My first post was pretty ranty though.

It rambled a lot more than I tend to do now, as well.

I still ramble a lot.

Same here. I think it was the Great Zynga Incident[sup][sub][sup][sub]TM[/sub][/sup][/sub][/sup] that killed it for me.

After that, it just wasn't fun to participate in the constant flaming.

I suppose it reach its peak there. You just can't top something like that. I'd argue it hit its peak for me in my first year during the matchup of Blizzard and Relic but the ship shank with Zynga.
