Poll: New to the Escapist/ Floaters like me.

Been here for a few months. It is important to test the waters by lurking for a while before joining. If I hadn't, I would have overstepped the line and been banned for bad taste several times over. Sometimes you just can't keep the Michael Jackson jokes in.

I'm a new guy, as the join date proudly proclaims. I'm frankly surprised that I hadn't joined the forums till June when I had; I originally lurked around the time of Zeel causing trouble.

Did a quick search. Saw his name on GiantBomb. He seems like fun on a bun.

I'm quite the lurker, considering that I've been a member for..uh..over two years now, and yet still have under a hundred posts. I do come on everyday, or try to, atleast.Tend to sift through posts that come up on the popular forums tab, just..rarely comment. .-.

Edit: Three years. Math is not exactly my strong suit.

I used to be a lurker. I might have posted ten times in my first six months.

Recently, though, I've tried to get more active. This place is simply too nice to never post in.

Been coming to the site for about 2.5 years...finally made an account & started posting
because I wanted to be ready for the next time someone starts a Cthulhu thread....
I could necro one I suppose but I think that lacks some class...
Oh, also wanted to have a base of peopleses who are in to P&P rpg's to ask questions
of when stuffs come up....

I made an account about the same time I started giving a damn about the forums. I think I first noticed the escapist with ZP in January '09, but didn't notice the forums until march when the march mayhem begun.

I guess I count as a wrinkly old man curses, I couldn't even write English properly, I remember I googled words left and right, it was awful, and my grammar was painful *shivers*

At least we have an excuse though, since English isn't out first language. It's worse if a native speaker has to google the words.

Holy Jesus riding on a unicorn...I've finally stopped lurking. Yes, after lurking for almost 5 YEARS like a games-aware Escapist Gollum, I've seen the light and joined the enlightened master-race of Escapist members. I watched the forums, I watched Escape to the Movies, ZP, Big Picture, Jimquistion (only when he isn't being...Jimmy), and um (whispers) extra credits...

But I already do that WITHOUT the upgrade
