Well, I know everyone's sick of those "What game should I buy?" threads, but I couldn't help it.

What electives should I take in college?
Major: Biology.
Choices: Spanish
Some vertebrate zoology class(not sure which yet)
Calculus
Some foreign language other than Spanish

Important information: I plan on getting a job in entomology, and I am already going to take an entomology class so that section of zoology is out. I have already taken 2 classes in Spanish in high school(although I forgot a lot of it and was never too good at it), and would take the 3rd language for bragging rights being able to put 2 foreign languages on my resume. Same reasons for calculus. I have already taken pre-calc in high school.

If you're going to be getting a job studying insects, then there's a chance you could be spending a lot of time travelling in South America, so speaking Spanish (or Portuguese) could be a useful skill (of course if you think your job is more likely to take you to Africa in search of insects, then French or another language may be more useful).

Well if the curriculum for Spanish is any good take that, a second language is always something good to have on a resume.
