I would love a new one,Either off of Twisted Metal 1 or 2 or Black style. The rest of the Twisted Metals were throw away.

In the Black Universe because driving around and shooting stuff is even more fun with dark undertones. I'd like the following things added to the gameplay:
1. Ramming physics/damage - I (and David Jaffe, I might add :p) think that TM:2 is the most 'balanced' TM. Black by comparison was a great game but it wasn't balanced. I think if you're a big car and you ram a little car while turboing you should be able to take a third or even half of their health away. To balance this out the smaller cars should have specials that take away a third of health or more away.

2. Unprejudiced AI - enemy cars should take eachother out as well and not just focus on you.

3. Killing Spree's/Limit Breaks - Players should be awarding points for consecutive kills. As you inflict damage a guage fills up and allows you to unleash a devastating attack once its full.

Twisted Metal 2 was my favorite and I would want the new one to be more like that with all the characters I know and love. TM Black was not like what I remembered and I did not really like it. Not because of the Dark Undertones, just its not how I liked it. I did like the Twisted Metal game they had for the PSP though. When i got a PSP, I had like, 3 games. Infection, SOCOM something or other, and that Twisted Metal game. Infection and TM are the reasons I wish my PSP never broke.

I would love to see a new one but I can't pick between normal or black. I liked both and it remains one of my favorite series to this day so I think I'd be happy with either. Especially if there's a good co-op/multiplayer function.

I loved the Twisted Metal games. I will definitely be picking this up. I'm looking forward to seeing how they will look on this generation of consoles.
