Poll: New Worms Game.

Team 17, the creative designers to the game series Worms is at it again. This time, their taking it to a 3D setting.

The gameplay consists of 3rd person platforming and strategetic shooting along with a 1st person shooting mode.

Its, apparently going to be a mixture of Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem.

It will feature new voice acting and BRAND NEW MORE MAPS and many fixes. DLC will eventually come, as inevitable with Worms games on the PC.

Its coming to the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and your computer. It will launch some day next week, well Escapists, are you ready for such a delightful game?

Meh, the Worms series lost it's special endearing touch once it went 3D.

I'd take a turn-based strategy game over a real-time strategy any day.

Worms World Party was my one and only love. The 3D versions games out and it died for me.

The side scrolling made it simple but awesome.

Worms was awesome. Then 3D came and pissed all over that. No, I am not looking forward to this. Now excuse me, I'm going to go and install Worms World Party.

Edit: Like the 2d golf thing. Should be fairly fun. Especially like the fact it's going to come out on mobile devices.

Turn based combat is not something I have patience for anymore.
And this doesn't seem that far off from Worms 3D, hell if there wasn't a name on it I would be hard pressed to believe this isn't Worms 3D.

I remember getting the first one on ye ol' PS1. I'm biased towards liking these games, so I am legally required to both play and enjoy it.

i will probably pick it up when its a little cheaper or in the sale. however the steam deal for ultimate mayhem and reloaded is pretty tempting. i love the worms series, both 2d and 3d, so i will remain hopeful.

Where's the "I'll feed your Worms to my Hogs of War!" option? Worms was a hell of a game. Worms Armageddon was better. Hogs kicked the pair of them out the park. Worms attempted to retaliate with Worms 3D, and, well, yeah...

Honestly I thought they achieved perfection with the Worms forumala with Worms: Armageddon. I'm having a hard time getting on board with 3D Worms but I'll give it a shot if there's a demo.

Same. I still stand by Worms Armageddon as being the best one they did. I'll try this one, but I'm not really feeling it...
