So, all of a sudden it stopped reading discs. I went to Radioshack (Yes, one still exists in my area. If curious I will explain how) because it's the closest, walking distance place around and got a CD lens cleaner. The CD didn't work: The Wii still can't read games.
I don't really know where best to go next. I know what my options are.
[li]But, I'm both too lazy and too afraid to take apart the console. I'm not sure if that's irrational thinking on my part as I've been told it's not TOO HARD and it's not like it's not already broken. [/li]
[li]Since the warranty is expired I don't know what I can get out of calling Nintendo[/li]
[li]I don't know of any places I can take it to[/li]
[li]While some people are willing to buy broken consoles to fix themselves most aren't[/li]
[li]I can't sell it for much[/li]
[li]I want to donate it out of the goodness of it all but I also could use some side cash frankly[/li]
Where should I go from here? What should I try next? Thanks.
