In my group of friends there are a bunch of subjects that are simply nonsensical arguments. Everyone seems to have taken one side or the other, and everyone will fight to the death for their opinion. Even though these really make no sense, we still develop an attitude of "I'm willing to deal with you despite your glaring lack of judgement."
Just an example, we each hold our own belief on who "he" is. Some claim he is Jayne Cobb, others say Kal'Reegar, and for some reason some believe he is Adam Baldwin.
They are all wrong. It's Colonel John Casey.
I also have an argument with one friend in particular over which band is better, "Boston" or the infinitely superior Foo Fighters.
Anyway, I was wondering if any other group of friends has a set of tightly held opinions?
