It's official, the four year run of the NBC show 'Heroes' is over. I for one will miss the show in some ways, but not most of it's insane story arcs. A few sources say that there may be a "movie" finale, which would be the equivalent of a 2-hour special. But I say just let it die a happy and silent death. Maybe in a few years when everyone has their act together they'll reboot the series and screws it up even more or we'll get a 'Heroes' cartoon featuring younger versions of the characters we already know. Maybe I'll finally get that Sylar action figure with the kung-fu grip.

How do you feel about the 'Heroes' send off?

Just a heads up, this topic has been done VERY recently. And my answer remains the same:

Meh, that series died for me after the TERRIBLE end to season 2.

I lost track of it, and for that I blame the BBC. Stupid scheduling...

Loved the first few series, and now, with the end of the show here, maybe I'll find out all the episodes and watch them, see what happened.

I just can't picture how different it would have been if the writer's strike hadn't affected the second series.

Crap, i didn't mean to hit yes. i stopped caring about the show in about the middle of the third season, but a part of me wishes i had stopped during the 2nd, when it was REALLY beginning its slow, flaming, downwards spiral into hell

I'm delighted that it's over. Sure, it would have been nice if it hadn't ended on yet another cliffhanger, but quite frankly, it's been mediocre at best since Season 1 ended. Genesis was brilliant, but everything beyond then has been seriously disappointing. Villains was particularly awful.

I'm glad it's been put out of its misery.

It was kinda brought back on track with the inclusion of T-Bag from Prison Break but his accent was painful to listen to.

I think there was still potential for the show, but too many people just abandoned it after season 2. I did get better, of course they really could only go up from there, but still, I enjoyed the show and will miss it.

They killed off characters to the point where I couldn't even be emotional invested in any of them. I quit after tracy strouce died I didn't care, even a little bit.

The problem this season is that it was too much of a slow burner, cramming all the major plot development in to the last few episodes. Don't get me wrong, season 3 was not impressive at all, but at least there was a clear sense that things were happening. Having said that, I rate Samuel as one of my all-time personal favourite villains in anything ever, partly because while I didn't understand his motivations, he himself clearly didn't either, which made him even more menacing.
